Wild Critter Ranch was founded in 2015 in Tenino, WA. In November of 2021 we moved to Northern Idaho, we purchased 22 acres outside of Plummer ID.
Our goal is to breed happy and healthy livestock with desirable traits.
We are a small, hands-on farm in Northern Idaho dedicated to breeding healthy, well-socialized animals with strong genetics and great temperaments. All our stock is raised with love, fresh pasture, and natural care. Whether you’re looking for working guardians, productive dairy, low-maintenance meat animals, or delightful pets, we have something special for you! 🐕 Maremma Sheepdogs Majestic livestock guardians with a proud, independent spirit. These large, all-white Italian guardians are intelligent, courageous, and fiercely protective of their flock (or family). They form a thick protective coat and thrive in outdoor farm life. Perfect for protecting sheep, goats, or your homestead. Puppies available with health guarantees and early socialization. 🐕 Australian Shepherds Energetic, intelligent herding dogs with strong work drive and loyal hearts. Our Aussies are bred for farm versatility—herding livestock, agility, or as active family companions. They’re highly trainable, affectionate, and thrive when given a job. Puppies raised with livestock exposure for natural instincts.
🐐 Mini Nubian Goats The “Goldilocks” dairy goat! A wonderful cross of Nubian and Nigerian Dwarf, Mini Nubians offer the best of both worlds: higher butterfat milk than standard Nubians, combined with a manageable mid-size (easier to milk and handle than full-size breeds). They’re graceful, friendly, and come in a rainbow of colors and patterns. Great for homestead milk production or as loving pets. 🐐 Alpine Goats Elegant, hardy Alpine dairy goats known for their excellent milk production, adaptability, and long lactations. These medium-to-large goats are alert, curious, and make wonderful pack animals or family milkers. They thrive in varied terrain and produce kids that grow quickly. Strong, healthy breeding stock and doelings available. 🐑 Barbados Blackbelly & Katahdin/Dorper Cross Sheep Low-maintenance hair sheep perfect for meat production! • Barbados Blackbelly: Prolific, heat-tolerant, and deer-like in appearance with beautiful black-bellied markings. Excellent mothers with mild-flavored meat. • Katahdin/Dorper crosses: Combine the parasite resistance and easy-care hair coat of Katahdins with the fast growth and muscling of Dorpers. No shearing required, great for hot/humid climates, and they produce high-yield, lean carcasses. Ideal for grass-fed operations or backyard flocks. 🐰 Rex Rabbits Luxuriously soft, velvety-furred rabbits that feel like plush velvet! Medium-sized with friendly, docile personalities, Rex rabbits are a joy as pets, show animals, or for meat and fiber. Their unique short, dense coat requires minimal grooming and comes in many beautiful colors. Gentle and great with families.
All animals are vaccinated, dewormed, and come from proven lines. We offer farm tours (by appointment), advice on care, and ongoing support for new owners. Limited availability—reserve yours today!
